Truck Servicing
We can provide regular preventative maintenance for
customer owned trucks and our mobile service engineers
can carry out emergency repairs with minimum
downtime and cost.
We
can also fully refurbish your Fork Truck at one of our
workshops and for this purpose keep an extensive stock
of new and second-hand parts, including tyres, batteries
and chargers.
Driver
Training Courses
Under the Health and Safety at Work Act employers have
a duty to ensure all fork lift operators have had adequate
training. AFL trucks can provide on site and off site
driver training for all types of lift trucks including:Counterbalance,
Reach, Sideloader and Rough Terrain. There is a maximum
of three trainees to one instructor on each course and
all our training programs meet the Approved Code of
Practice of the Health and Safety Executive.
The duration of the training is determined by the ability
of the trainee to achieve a test standard.
We also carry out driver assessments that will enable
us to tailor the course to meet the individual needs
of each driver.
